Breakthrough Inventions are Personal! !!

I have been asked this question directly or indirectly many times. Will a great group of people do a breakthrough invention?
I have thought about this question a lot. In my repeated debates with myself - I end up with on conclusion - Breakthrough inventions are acts of individuals - never a group ! Same applies to philosophy. Breakthrough ideas always come from a single person - whether technical, social or political.

AI does not Exist!!???

One of my learned friend told me the other day that AI is all a BS. Because, real AI doesn't exist.

I agree with him!!!!

You see, my friend is an expert scientist, philosopher and one of the greatest thinkers. I have absolutely no choice than to agree with him. I mean, what chance does a simple engineer like me stand in a profound philosophical debate as this one against one of the most advanced thinker I have ever met? No chance at all. Absolutely, no chance at all.

Death of CMOS!!

Death of CMOS is inevitable ... but not yet ...not just yet .... CMOS will be replaced by something else, but, for a common person's use that change is 4 to 5 decades away.

The name CMOS is abbreviation for Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor. But, the word CMOS has more meaning to most people than the name it represents. CMOS is technology that transforms sand into chips that do magical tasks, and are backbone of all electronics.

AI-computing is different from conventional computing! This is now a widely accepted knowledge, though the details are not understood by most. (I intend to publish lessons in difference between AI-computing and conventional-computing as soon as I get time.

Additionally, computing for Embedded-AI is very different from "Server-based-AI". Unfortunately, the differences are not understood by most engineers. Business decision makers may often hear conflicting views from engg team, which makes business decisions challenging.
